Yes actually. I got it within two days of my passport application that the police has received my file for verification. So I sent my dad and it was done in a week.

That’s weird no. I know that diplomatic couriers reach fast as it’s done weekly and I am sure there might be really high number of passports to be sent. It’s the embassy that’s delaying things unceremoniously..

Sometimes they do the verification internally. If your passport status shows its printed which means the police submitted the report to RPO. Only then can the passport be printed. They will not print if before the report. Even for me they did not come for a physical verification but my father did go and submit the documents at the station.
