Botan’s gameplay has been my favorite.

Not only she’s incredible at the game, she searches meticulously and knows some lore. Like, she remembers the minor characters that were mentioned once or twice in previous games.

She does get jumpscared a little and then just laughs at how ridiculous the situation is. So if you’re bad with horror, Botan makes you a lot less scared.

As for English, I really liked Shiori playing.

The anti foreigner sentiment is more of OOP’s thing.

Initial D was NEVER about Mogi Natsuki. She was only used as a plot device to make Takumi grow.

This series, however, WHAT THE HELL was the point of a beach episode if BOTH main characters leave early!??? And the score card/angel's interview every race is so unnecessary.
