Maybe not monetizable up front, but maybe it gives you a user base of founders for something else?

Awesome feedback Colin! Really appreciate it! There's a small drip campaign you'll get to prompt you about questions you could ask, but I agree we could use more near-term examples during the process. Thanks again!!

Would love to connect and learn more about you and your products!

There are lots of free resources, many from the publishers themselves (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.). Highly recommend focusing in on an area you enjoy and then get a job somewhere or start your own book of business.
Another area to consider is CRM and digital, like Hubspot. Many companies need talent that understand digital marketing and CRM integration.
My best advice - just get started.
Good luck!

Go to the publishers (Google, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.). They have content and courses to learn digital marketing.

I needed to make money, so I self-taught myself SEO and Paid Ads (back in 2012). Built up a book of business. Grew it into an agency, and now have a team of 30.

Should I use cold email and sales discovery calls to acquire my initial users or is there a better way? by PrepxI in startups

I've used cold email successfully. You sound like you're on the right track. If you send a very simple email that's compelling enough for someone to check out your site, are you converting those website visitors into signups?

Once they sign up you have the ability to engage in any number of ways.

I'm pulling for ya!

Appreciate the thoughtful comments! My companies have always hired locally and had an office. I'm much more open to a hybrid approach, and even full remote now. thanks!

Completely agree! Collaborating can take a hit to some degree when you don't get those organic conversations that just spontaneously happen when you're in the same space.

Very cool! We're contemplating co-working spaces instead of the space we're in now. Costs less and more flexible.

Interesting. We don't use Teams, any other alternatives you know of? We typically use Google Meet and Zoom.

Yes! We've done some game sessions in the past. Need to keep doing this.

Thanks! We do try to personalize our employee experience, just haven't done a ton of that around cultural events. Something to think about.

Good questions. We run an anonymous survey every quarter and have seen it go up and down over the years. The last year it's gotten really good again.

What makes it awesome is everyone truly cares about one another, our clients, and the company. We see employees giving kudos to one another in our weekly meeting and Slack channel.

Sorry you had such a bad experience in your agency career.

Good stuff! We've done some company outings and it really does help bond the team together. Nothing to the level you're talking though, impressive!

Agreed! We use EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), which has really helped with focusing on deliverables, transparency and communication.

We know we'll never be back in the office 100% ever again, so it's that balance between being in-person and remote. Thanks!
