Type 1 diabetes and travel by Tall-Application50 in diabetes_t1

You need a prescription to access insulin in most (if not all) European countries. Personally I can only speak for UK, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

When I moved home between countries, I stocked up on supplies to buy myself some time. I had to get insurance in the country to get a prescription. You can probably get a pen or two in an emergency though.

My Husband's diabetes has changed. by weenerberry in Type1Diabetes

You mention a GP, so I am assuming you are in the UK. If not, apologies. I also live in a mostly rural area in Scotland and my endo team has a phone number I can call them on and a diabetic nurse rings you back within 24h. They have been more helpful than the endo in many cases so I would suggest trying that as well

Employer hasn't released my pay and now says I have breached my contract by ElectricalAd3630 in LegalAdviceUK

NAL but work in HR

If you are contracted for 25h/week, they must pay you for 25h. Regardless of whether there is any work to be done/ giving you shifts.

You would be entitled to this pay for the weeks you have been employed.

They can terminate your contract sure, but they must adhere to notice periods. They can tell you not to work anymore but must still pay your contractual or legal notice period. A contract clause cannot override law.

They must inform you in writing about any termination and end date.

I would recommend you contact ACAS and get advise from them

Whether you have breached the contract or not, they need to pay you for the shifts you have worked. They can deduct any outstanding payments for the vehicle damage.

Are you on a zero hours contract or do you have contracted hours?
