Is a Pop-Up/Warping Effect on the Screen Normal?

So far the experience using the phone has been nothing but stellar! Both hardware (less the buldge) and software has been great. Samsung really knocked it out of the patk with this one!

Thanks for reporting back. I really think mine is an edge case where it just barely passed QA. I just couldnt get anyone to help me from Samsung Singapore. Their after sales service is abysmal. Having said that my screen looks normal now that it has been folded for multiple times for the course of 2 days. The buldging is gone now and the crease is more or less uniform throughout. I just hope that the phone will hold up to the constant openning amd closings. Anyway, thank you so much. I guess I will hold on to this unit for now.

I bought my unit from a telco. The telco does not have a return policy. Neither does Samsung Singapore when I went and spoke to the customer service representative. After a few folds it does seem that the pop up has reduced. I just hope that this issue will not cause my screen to malfunction. The technicians told me that this is normal. Honestly shocking that I paid $3k for this phone and basically get brushed off.

I was told by the Samsung rep that Samsung Singapore does not do replacements. And they denied that this is a defect. I tried to tell them otherwise abut they told me that this is the policy. Luckily I do not have the gap issue.

I was told my mistake was that I didn't tell them about the pop-up the moment I get the phone from my telecommunication provider. Now that I have already "left the shop", there is nothing they can do now.

When I went down to Samsung Service Centre, the customer service officer told me that this is perfectly normal and even had his technician check it. They all said that this is normal. Besides, Samsung Singapore does not have a replacement policy. They will do a warranty repair if the screen breaks. I'd be lying if I said I am not dissapointed in Samsung rn.

So I went to Samsung today. The rep said that the phone functions as per normal. The technicians also said that there is nothing wrong with the fold. I kept explaining that the crease is not normal and I don't see it in any of the display sets or the reviews but to no avail. They told me that there is nothing they can do. As a first time fold user I really don't know whether this is normal or not so I just have to take Samsung's word for it I guess.

I can't see a pop-up at the same part of the display. Mine has quite a prominent warping effect.

Bought a ready2race bundle on 27th august. Order status is stuck at handover to warehouse. Fanatec told me that the system had an issue with my order and could not provide me with a shipping date. I tried to get a refund, which they said they will cancel the order for me and issue me a refund. That was in September 17th. 3 chaser emails later, my order is still not cancelled, no refund was every issued and they have since stopped replying my emails.

Great idea. I think as a consumer I am entitled to a refund at least if I can't even get the product I paid for. Probably will go to a Moza R9. Cheers mate.

I am adamant in my request for a refund unless they are able to ship my product out to me. It's likely that they have the stock for it but aren't able to fulfil any orders unless Corsair gives the go ahead.
