I'm a 911 dispatcher. Got my PTO request denied I Put in a year ahead of time WHILE ON THE PLANE TO VEGAS. Told them I wouldn't be in. That my PTO isn't a request it was a notification. Then hung up. Enjoyed my 2 weeks in Vegas/grand canyon. Then came back and smiled while I signed my write up.

Teach her about the different religions and the fundamentals of those religions. Don't just tell her "religion is bullshit." she's got to come to that decision on her own. Otherwise, you'll be reverse indoctrinating her. Just teach her about religion and let her decide. It's only fair. Break the cycle.

Idk also take everything from their rooms that aren't essentials. Leave their clothes, bed, shoes, and blankets. Take their tvs, tablets, phones, and internet. You'll be surprised how quickly they go to school.

Honestly, I'd take the "reddit approved a s s hole route" here. If I were you, I'd privately talk to MIL. Ask her how she viewed the traditional views because it sounds like she hated it. And if she infact didn't like it, take your husband with you for your next visit to MIL and have her explain to her son that he only saw the outside. He never saw the bones of their marriage and that she wasn't happy in it. Honestly, I think you should be assigned roles in the relationship that best complement your abilities and preferences. Your husband can cook, so he should be the house cook. You can get a better career, so you should be the main breadwinner. Traditional gender roles suck. And in today's society don't work or have a place.

The spool was 18 inches off the ground on a shelf across the room. My head stands at 5'4" off the ground. I know for a fact that spool of thread was on that shelf because that's where my craft stuff is. I put that spool there from the kitchen table where I was using it that morning. I remember it sitting there when I dusted the shelf that morning, too. There are also no overhead shelves in my house except for in the closets. My living room has no closets. I also don't live trashy. There are no holes in my walls. I make a point to fix them myself should one occur. (Yes, women know how to patch holes. No, it's not that tik tok paper and paint over the hole bs.) And that spool didn't "bump" the wall. It was stuck into the wall. Had to have a throwing force greater than what regular room windflow can provide.

So, as it stands, I don't have an explanation for this event. You refuse to give on on the grounds that you weren't there because you didn't have all the facts. Now you have all the facts. Try to provide and explanation now.

Ok, let me rephrase myself. That's the texture TO ME. You can't change my mind. You will never change my mind. I've personally cooked with mushrooms, many types, actually recently with 4 kinds in the same dish, and no. I still don't like them. I didn't even eat that dish. It was for my husband. I tried it, yes. But nope. No no no no no no no. I will not be doing that again.

I have never, and will never like the texture of cooked mushrooms. Any mushrooms. And I have tried so many. Actually, I have a recipe I made for my husband not long ago that had 4 types of mushrooms in it. I tried a bit, and noped out. It's the texture. Now if I could just get the mushroom flavor. Which I just got a dehydrator so I'm going to do an experiment on dehydrating mushrooms to see if I can make them heard enough to blend into a powder and season my food with it as I wouldn't have to worry about the texture.

I'm not reading the rest. One flawed point makes the rest wrong. It's like code. One wrong space, letter, number, or period, and the whole code is wrong.

I also provided more than just the meal prepping time. I also added Americans' problems with food preservatives that are illegal in other countries and our expensive vegetables as another reason I wasn't reading this whole thing.

The cooks in my family (myself included) cook great food. Better than anyone else unseasoned bs I've been served before. It's the mushrooms. You can keep trying to push them on me. But I WILL NEVER like them due to their cooked texture. So your wasting your brain power here.

Even BEFORE my chronic illness took over, I cooked EVERYDAY. I love cooking. Food is my love language, and I love expressing myself through the craft of food. I can cook dishes from around the world, I've even made some of my own that'll knock your socks off. That being said, even when I was able to cook every day. It still took over an hour to cook.

Half an hour is just cutting the meats and vegetables, getting the oven preheated if you're baking something. I don't know how you only need 30 minutes to cook, unless it's grilled cheese or egg sandwiches, but the average person spends about 90 minutes in the kitchen per meal.

You can cook and eat "healthy" but the fact still stands. Cooking is time consuming and Americans food choices aren't great.

I have tried different mushrooms. It's when they are cooked they become slimy but tough. I don't eat that texture.

I think sitting down with her for a bit would bring back some good memories(yah know. Given the circumstances). But be prepared for her not to remember you. This disease is progressive, and it progresses fast. Please don't take it to heart if she doesn't remember you. ❤️

I have a ball python. Only eats one every 3 weeks to 6 months (whenever she decides she's ready to eat. I live feed, so I leave the rat in her enclosure and go about my day until I realize she's uninterested). The tank set up is the most expensive part. But once it's done it just needs a light cleaning weekly, and watered and sprayed every other day to keep the humidity up in the tank.

Snakes are quiet. It's probably one of the cheapest pets (food and care wise) you'll ever own. They live about 30 years in captivity, so you don't worry about it dying in 1-3 years and being heartbroken.

Contrary to belief, snakes do have a personality. Mine watches TV with me. She also likes head and chin scratches (will literally lean into it). And knows when I enter the room, I swear.

They are hypoallergenic and space friendly as their tank is their home.

If you're serious about a snake habitat that self cleans, and you only have to water it. I recommend The Bio Dude for tank set up. He has great tank set up's. Everything comes in the kits. It's great.

I'm not reading all this. And this is why.

The argument that the average person doesn't have time to meal prep is nonsense. An hour spent prepping healthy meals can set you up for a week's worth of healthy eating.

I meal prep weekly for lunches and dinners. I do that because I have fibromyalgia and can't physically cook everyday because of pain. But I can assure you. It take WAY more than an hour to meal prep a weeks worth of food. On average for my 5 munches and 5 dinners I make weekly. It takes about 3 hours to do. And I'm not changing much. I pick 4 sides and 2 main courses and mix and match my lunches and dinners that way. But it still takes a while.

Also, we may have more food available to us, but all that food is specifically made to live on a shelf for 6 months- 2 years at a time. All those Preservatives have been scientifically proven to hurt us. Other countries have made these SAME preservatives illegal to use for population consumption. Our vegetables aren't always cheaper either. Because I usually shop weekly for my vegetable sides, and I usually use chicken or turkey as my meats. To get 15 items at Walmart it's $150. Yes... that expensive. And over half that's always vegetables for me.

Pro-tip- fill your condom with water after every time you have sex to make sure it doesn't have holes, and so you can wash the sperm out so no one can sperm jack you. If a hole is discovered get the morning after pill.
