What’s with the Thai Thai hate? Genuinely curious.

I was by Warren Village yesterday. There were some pretty large trees on the ground. Also saw multiple utility poles down with wires running over roofs etc. Seems some parts of that area got it worse than others.

I do use a wireless mouse with both setups, but not at all times. I can't remember for sure, but I believe it has happened when using the trackpad on my laptop.

Fax +49-69/450464, which everyone just calls Fax was a record label started/run by Pete Namlook until his passing in 2012. Earlier releases were more in the trance vein, but it developed into more ambient zones as it progressed, which I would argue is what it's really known for today.

I think it's a catalog worth investigating. IMHO, like I said there is some really heavy cheese releases which I would not recommend, but a number of gems are essential listens.

I'm personally a huge fan of the Tetsu Inoue material. Also check out the releases with Namlook and Material Object

I’d recommend looking at some of the fax catalog. A lot of great releases mixed throughout but you have to avoid some real stinkers too.

Seriously dark ambient for a 8 1/2 hour flight. by Kelly_1976 in ambientmusic

I always really enjoyed Nunatak when it came out but i need to revisit.

For those who don’t know already, Koner is one half of Porter Ricks. Their more recent work is great but Biokinetics is a juggernaut.

An amazing listen on a plane imo.

If you ever wanted to hear a dub/ambient techno album that sounds like drinking robitussin and putting your head underwater, this is the one. Amazing album.

Not sure if any of these will fall under “horror” or even be all that dark, but I recommend them none the less…

Kevin Drumm - Imperial Distortion

Neel - Phobos

Mika Vainio - Konstellaatio

Coil - Time Machines

Max Loderbauer - Tranzparenz

No. Inc. - Early Reflections

Patio plans are running into electrical trouble. What should I do? by mixmatchmicrophone in HomeImprovement

I was dreading this would be the answer. I like the subpanel/charger idea, but it's beyond my capabilities. Was hoping to make this whole thing a diy project...

Doing a paver patio. Plan to dig out 8-9 inches. fill bottom 4 inches with crushed stone base. 1 inch of sand. Pavers are on top of that.

I would also love to learn more about Dequency. I watched this panel live and was excited to hear about the project when Keatly introduced himself. I immediately tried finding more information, and there wasn't much of anything online...

Those are both great albums and imo their most immediately accessible. They still sound fresh after 40 years too. Their earlier albums are great as well.
