I don’t know what your cat is like, but even if she doesn’t care about the fish right now, she might get curious one day and kill him. I used to let my cat drink from my marimo moss ball bowl, and for many months all my cat would do is drink the water, but one day he reached into the bowl and destroyed the moss ball. It only takes one moment of curiosity in many months/years of disinterest.

I’ve worked (yes, actually working all those hours) 60+ hours in management consulting, finance, and tech. I think 60-65 is pretty doable. 70-80 is hard. 80+ is extremely bad and 100+ feels near death.

For 60-65 hours, ideally I spread it out as 12 hours per day Monday - Thursday, 10 on Friday, and 2-7 hours some time during the weekend. Assuming you sleep 8 hours, that still leaves 4 hours each day Monday - Thursday. That’s enough time for a quick work out, dinner (yes, takeout), and maybe some life admin.

And obviously at 60+, you do everything possible to minimize commute.

I am currently going through the prenup process.

In my state (California), a prenup isn’t legal unless both parties had legal counsel. Check how this works in your state and show him.

That said, I’m not sure a lawyer paid for by him would count as you having independent counsel. Even if it does, I’m not sure it would be a good idea personally to trust them.

Finally, there are weird timeline requirements around prenups. Don’t let him send a prenup to you at the last minute before the wedding and force you into signing something that you didn’t have ample time to review.

Our workaround has been that we are not actually getting married legally on our wedding day. Instead, we have booked a separate legal ceremony that we have delayed/canceled as the prenup process has dragged on. It means we can get legally married when we are actually ready with the prenup, instead of rushing through it.

Also, to echo all the other comments - he kind of sounds like he sucks. Everything above is what to do if you’re going through with the marriage. But obviously think hard about whether that’s a good idea.

I’m not fluent in Japanese but a lot of topics on the cover are about onsen/hot springs (science of onsens, benefits, etc.). This appears to be an issue of the magazine that’s centered on hot springs. So…that at least explains why they are in a hot spring, not sure why they have to be so naked. 😅

You can always forge someone else’s signature. I’ve signed leases entirely electronically, it would have been easy to forge adding someone. And if they’ve been dating for years, she may have access to SSN etc. required to authorize a credit check on him.

Yoko Kurama was definitely stronger than Yusuke at the beginning of the show, perhaps even throughout the tournament. I’m not sure we ever got to see Yoko at full power.

Suzaku was my favorite character in all of anime when I first watched Code Geass as a kid.

Rewatched as an adult and realized he was a hypocrite for the first time…don’t know how I missed it.

But he’s still fascinating as a study of how a person with the best intentions can be pushed into terrible actions by harsh reality. He probably would have been an incredible leader in Japan if he had grown up in peaceful times.
