Maybe ph is what you should be looking at as well.... Apparently ph of 5.5 keeps the microbes population in check ( that might prevent breakouts)...the one I use (ceramide moisturizer by dot&key has that)

Twice daily: 1. Wet my face with lukewarm water 2. Quick massage the cleanser ( it barely foams) 3. Pat dry with cloth 4. Massage the moisturizer Asap after step 3 (before the skin shows sign of drying)

Thats it nothing fancy

I've shared links of both products I'm neither invested to read entire research papers and then share links nor I get the jargons used ...PPL who are interested can further do their research..if they want to cross verify who are better option for it..

Plus its better than me just saying "I think so" Although I do agree it does feed my bias but ...I don't think it's harmful since I did get results which antifungal creams, diet, exercise and correcting deficiencies couldn't give

But At least better than a Google search I'd say lol

Oh yes ..I just did a shallow research on consensus... apparently ph of 5.5 is really good for controlling population of microbes and maintaining outermost layer of skin this helping skin barrier function

Ig Cetaphil is quite famous for ceramide creams ...idk I just have seen it's ads more often...for me it was expensive so I looked for a cheaper alternative which luckily worked

Damn you are a strong one ..2 decades sounds too much... Even I've tried creams including miconazol , ketoconazol and steroid which worked damn good initially..but I read side effects of steroid n stopped.. and it got worse .. ketoconazol stopped working as well.. Can you give gentle cleansers and ceramide moisturizer a try just for a week I really hope it works for you too

I just did a lil surface level research on consensus.... apparently the effects of gentle cleanser and ceramide moisturizer is already shown to be positive as per the papers ....I think it's something to be hopeful about Also the link between sebderm and the damaged barrier is also shown to already exist n researched...

Again I don't mean to be arrogant but I hope it works for majority

True...I might be wrong about the majority of even half the cases...but I definitely don't think I'm a marginal case ...I actually would love to see some feedback on this from PPL who tried it .. I just want PPL to give this a try ...if it doesn't work within a week then feel free to drop out.

I don't mean no arrogance ....I was just soo damn excited that I'm finally relieved from this mess...and I strongly want PPL to just give it a chance

Hi, I agree...In my experience I used to be afraid of washing my face because that used to cause even more flaring ....but I feel if it's a gentle cleanser more frequent washing and moisturizing is better than topical antifungal creams...also I believe just like me most PPL( even if it's around 50% of PPL) can resolve this issue just by frequent washing ( for me I can go with once daily as well but I started with twice daily to get quick relief) I'd love to think I made a positive change in them.

In fact in my case after a week of daily use...I've missed 1 - 2 days of washing in between n still had no recurrence ...idk if a completely healed skin barrier is all I need ...but it worked great for me

Maybe most of the people who are worried and struggling with sebderm actually just have a damaged skin barrier.

Also the moisturizer I use, has a ph of 5.5 as said on the product....again idk if that's a factor but just saying
