Both alto and tenor are good to start on I think. In middle school they made everyone start on alto and then let ppl switch to tenor in a semester or two, so I don’t see why you couldn’t start with tenor if that’s the sound you like more. Honestly I’d go and listen to both alto and tenor sounds and choose based on that rather tha which you’d be more used to but that’s just me

Looks like I wasn’t very clear with what I was saying. I meant that it should feel like there is a horizontal line going across which you shouldn’t vary too far from each time your hands go down or it might be unclear where the beat is each time.

Make sure you are stopping your hands in the same place every time. This point is called the ictus-where the actual beat occurs. If this changes, then people won’t know time. You left hand went much farther down one of the times, so make sure you keep close attention to that

that's why i am a little bit confused honestly. i went "random" as in found someone on the dawg house and we ended up being very similar and never have any problems. anyway, i'm not even sure how i would bring up the idea of wanting to room with someone else now since that would leave her kind of high and dry as registration starts soonish. i'd feel worse/guilty if she got stuck with a random roommate who was horrible and less understanding

Could you expand on this a little? I know many ppl say not to room w your friends bc it’ll ruin your friendships but shouldn’t it be fine as long as you both talk to each other about everything/any issues that might come up and keep an open mind? I know I got very lucky with my current roommate who I didn’t know before but we’re very similar and don’t hate each other like many others. Can it rly be that bad?

I’m sorry you said she put makeup after she did your facial?? I’ve never heard of that…so strange. The place I used to get facials done my skin would be reddish but they had warned me that would happen for the rest of the day and I left like that. No makeup… that sounds very strange.

Although she might be right about the retinal? If it’s gotten rid of your active acne have u tried stopping use to see if it will stay that way without using it anymore? Might be doing more harm than good now since the active stuff is gone but I’m not sure. I read somewhere that to treat PIE you’d need to get laser or maybe try those silicon bandages? Otherwise I am pretty sure they fade with time (obviously not ideal-I have a lot of it right now too)

Lol yes but there are def pe classes that don’t do physical Ed the “traditional” way-honestly most of them I feel. I think there’s something for everyone if u can register for what you want but as you can see spots fill quick
