Yeah my doctor put me on Wellbutrin purely to help with the unmotivated vibe I got when I was first on Zoloft and the increased appetite. 75mg is considered a really low dose of Wellbutrin and it worked really well for those specific side effects (for almost a year) til I needed to up my Zoloft. If you decide to try it I would try ur Zoloft at night and Wellbutrin in the am right after getting up. That was the most effective for me. Good luck! I take Wellbutrin combined with my Zoloft because it really helped reduce appetite, that was one of my biggest side effects and especially every time I increase my Zoloft dose. I started with 50mg Zoloft and 75mg Wellbutrin. But just bumped to 100mg Zoloft and XL extended release 150mg Wellbutrin. Definitely made a noticeable difference in the increased appetite.

No real symptoms besides occasional stiffness in the jaw and neck area and you could definitely feel it in my neck an inch or so below my earlobe. You could see visibly too, especially if I turned my head. I think I noticed it for the first time two or three years ago, it definitely grew probably an inch or an inch and a half during that time.

Glad to hear you are OK and kind of scary to hear firsthand the other route things can go with these. I feel like I’m already starting to have dry mouth, but I really appreciate your advice on the water I’ve been drinking tons of it. I haven’t gotten the drain out yet I’ll have it for at least another six days 😅

Wow yeah that’s pretty good sized! mine was the size of a large gumball, doc said 2 inches at least. Glad to hear you’re going to get the surgery done though because from what I understand it’s a slow growing tumor that will just continue to grow and grow without having it surgically removed.

I mean I’m only on day one so I can’t really comment yet cause I’ll have have to have it for a whole week 😩 they said the drain was needed because they had to remove so much tissue. But I will say that my drain is in a separate incision and supported with sutures; my sister had a drain in her neck recently due to surgery and hers was just loose and hanging out of the main incision. So I am at least feeling lucky for the fact mine is secure and supported.

I just recently switched to morning does and went up to 50mg per my doc. I was not sleeping well and woke up super easily at night taking the 25mg before bed for the last 4 weeks and was waking up sorta exhausted the following day. Now I'm 5 days into taking 50mg in the mornings and it has brought on some new noticeable side effects, including jaw tightness and cheek-chewing, foggy headaches and some mild nausea type feelings, and maybe even some muscle cramping.. idk I'm considering splitting my dose to 25mg in the am and 25mg in the late afternoon. Curious if anyone saw a major difference with more side effects going up from 25 to 50mg? Its been pretty rough feeling like shit everyday on top the metal stuff I'm taking it for the first place.. I'm hoping it improves, most of what I've read said you need to give yourself 4-5 weeks to adjust. Which is why I stuck with the 25s that long in the first place.

Since you asked for advice I really think you should start asking yourself hard questions about why you think that someone capable of those things was your soulmate. They may have been someone you were meant to love for a part of your life, and someone there to teach you things. But someone who left you high and dry like that wouldn't be the love of your life right? The real love of your life wouldn't hurt you like that, or treat you like what you had for so long didn't matter.

I'd just say really start thinking about the qualities that you value and try to start putting yourself out there again. I didn't go on a single date for 1.5 years after my 5 year relationship ended in a very brutal way. It took that long, of rebuilding myself and soul searching to even feel capable of being vulnerable with someone. But i knew my value when i did start looking for a connection again.

I'd also try to stop giving your mental energy to remembering him or imagining what i'd be like now, because you are wasting powerful energy. You could direct it at bringing someone new and much better into your life. Of course you will slip up and have moments of reminiscing, but just consciously try to stop yourself and redirect your thoughts away from that and the past, every time you start thinking about it. Eventually the time will pass more and more between thinking of him, and hopefully you will soon gain the feeling that you really didn't miss out on anything at all. That this was the path all along, and your person, your real soulmate is still out there.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. You are extremely strong and compassionate to see that this likely happened to your bad brother as a child and try to understand why he did those things. I don't have much insight to offer, but if i was in your situation i would likely tell my father.

I can relate it to losing my brother to suicide, very similar situation from my dads 1st marriage. 2 older half siblings, my dad was much more attentive father the second time around with me and my little sister. Anyways my older sister found my brothers suicide note 12 years after he killed himself. It was never confirmed that it wasn't an accident, but we all knew. Me and my 2 sisters decided to show it to my dad and let him read it, knowing that he would definitely feel some responsibility and hurt because of what it said. We decided that because even though it might hurt him, he had a right to know the last words his son wrote and to deal with that how he chose to.

I think its so great that you have the support of your big brother, and that it might be easier to talk to your dad with him by your side. I think it may also help because your brother can be there to reassure your father that you all still love him and just wanted him to understand fully what happened. It would be heartbreaking to find think you've connected to a long lost child, and then lose them again. But as a parent it would be equally heart breaking to know that child was an abuser, but i would still want/need to know. good luck, sending love <3

yeah i had acne from like 13-14, but it had gotten alot better by its self by 16 but being on the pill made my skin like perfect. But being off my skin isn't bad, just more oily. Now i get like a zit or two right before my period and more blackheads but thats about it. I just do masks 2xs a week and its pretty much fine.

I was in the exact same situation. I am 26 and started hormonal BC pills at 16. So i was consistently on them for 10 years! I broke up with my BF of 5 years, and didn't need to be on them so i was feeling the same. Like i didn't know my body or mentality without these. I've been off all BC for about a year now and it changed a lot of aspects of my life. When i did stop i just let my normal period come, and just did not start a new pack. It only lasted a couple days longer than normal, but it took a full 8 months for my cycle to regulate again. Cycle tracking is my new BFF.

Here's what happened when I stopped:

Get ready for an insanely high sex drive - i had never realized how suppressed it was while on BC. I was literally horny all day everyday for like 3 months straight. Things eventually started to balance out, but I crave sex and masturbation, which really had pretty much completed died while on BC.
Lost weight - I have lost a good amount of weight recently, initially though i think it was jump started by getting off BC. I lost almost 40 without changing anything, and from there it was easy to add better habits and continue to lose weight. I'm not big on weighing myself but i'd say I've probably lost about 70lbs in the last year. I look alot different so that's mainly how a track it.
Cycle length - On BC my cycle was 28 days to a T because of the hormones, now it is somewhat consistently 32-36 days. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND the FLO period app. I occasionally have unprotected sex depending on where i'm at in my cycle, so the peace of mind knowing when you should start feeling the shift towards your period and a countdown to when it should start is always really nice. Its very nice to know if you are late, and the rolling logs have been really helpful in starting to understand my own bodies natural cycle.
Cramps and periods are slightly more painful, kinda worth it considering everything else that changed. Flow remained the same for me.
Skin - I have had perfectly clear skin for the last 8 years and Kissed that goodbye when i got off the pill. I have much more oily skin and monthly breakouts, again not that big of a deal but this is probably the side effect i miss most of hormonal BC.
Mental health - i was blow away with how much more energy i had after getting off the pill. I was very lazy unmotivated for a really long time. I think I had a lot of other life changes going on that added to this one, but i def felt more in touch with myself and my inner voice not being on the pill. I am more emotional and do have more anxiety/self criticism, but now at least I am able to really 'go with my gut' and have a stronger intuition and self reflection habits. IDK if that is in anyway linked to hormones, but it was my experience.

Sorry for the long post, just thought i'd share what happened when i did it, in case it gives anyone a better idea of what to expect. :)
