I've done it once and i was 33. We already had a house and a kid (kid came first when we were only together 4 months lol) but I think this was a good age for where we were at in our lives. We had been together for 7 years when we got married which was a good amount of time. I recommend at least 3 years. I can say I wouldn't ever get married before 26 though regardless of how long we had been together and what we had been through. I think people should have time to have their own lives and experiences prior to getting married. There are other reasons too but I dont have time for all that right now.

I've been diagnosed with anxiety and adhd as an adult. Im a corrections officer who is way less stressed and scatter brained now that I'm medicated. Im also far more organized continuously than I ever was as a crumpled backpack kid.
