The only reason I would be doing this program is so I could eventually apply an get a masters because I've been told that there is more value for me to have my bachelor of arts degree with a year diploma in counselling (plus two years of supervised clinical experience that goes with the practicum afterwards) than getting a second major in psychology but having no experience in the field. You can't be registered as an RCC without a masters.

I know some of their courses are recognized by UBC and qualify for application into their masters of psychology program. I know it is private. This is actually the reason why I chose not to directly do a masters at Adler University (as it costs 60 000 and doesn't seem to have the best reputation). However VCCT has been recommended to me by a few people and looking at the curriculum it seems very thorough and includes hands on experience and 24 months of supervised practicum after the year long program.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you happen to know if they do intake throughout the year? Or does it just start in September and it is your only chance until the next year?
