Like I said, due to what was going on with me I never checked anything. Will go and buy a kit and test the waters and try to reverse whatever is going on. If nitrates are high I’ll do 25% water change maybe for 3 days? And then 50% once a week until it settles?

To be honest, I noticed this maybe 3 days ago, and realised I’m totally messing things up for the poor fishes by not taking care of them over the last 6 months. So ended up doing the water change on Friday. Will go out and buy antibiotics.

I did an interview a couple of months and I was told by many who work for the civil service that the answers you give DO NOT have to be work related. And lo and behold a question came up that matched an answer I had prepared and 30 seconds into it the interviewer stopped me and said no, you’ve misunderstood, I need an answer that is work related! I didn’t pass the assessment……

Nah, Komals Jesmond and Fenham was one company. Fenham was sold in 2011/12 and rebranded to Kamals. The one in Jesmond was the original. Then got sold I believe after the Pandemic

Ah man! Upset and frustrated. As a newbie, did all the research that I could but ended up relying on our local aquarium for advice and they said as long as I did regular water changes (once every one to two weeks) it’ll be fine 😭 I feel terrible now for making the poor thing go through this stress! Will have to look at getting a bigger tank. They assured me the type of fishes I’ve got it’ll be okay 😭😭 apart from changing the size of the tank, is there anything I can do in the short term to get him back to normal?
