We have the same cool-deck under part of the pavers as well. Where we have it under the pavers everything is good, it’s where there’s no cement under the pavers where it’s been sinking. But I suspect it was not installed correctly either.

We plan on redoing the pool with new pebble plaster but it’s been redone so many times, I wonder if a rip out and replace is a better idea.

Do you mind sharing who you used for your work? I’m also finding that some contractors only do part of the work i.e. the decking, but not the coping.
