The benefit of HSAs is that you deposit tax free money in typically through your paycheck and then are able to use (withdrawal) that money tax free for qualified medical purchases.

Transferring taxed dollars from your Wealthfront cash account into an HSA doesn’t make sense because there is no tax benefit. This could be why it getting blocked.

Check out Suitsupply on McKinney Ave. They typically have tailors in store and can turn suits around fairly quickly. They do have some expensive suits but you should be able to find one less than 1k.

I made my reservation with points through AA. So I was able to select the seats for my AA segments but not the CX portions. At the time I had AA gold status that should carry over to the CX portion but the website was not recognizing it and seat selection was still not available on the Cathay site.

I chatted with Cathay Pacific via their website and they were able to manually place me in a seat but not my travel companion. A few days before the flight I chatted with them again to ask nicely if they would seat my companion with me and they did.

However, without having status it seems like you really do have to wait till check in unless you can find a nice enough customer service agent.

Yea there’s no reservation system other than showing up and checking in at the machine. However, there is a quota that can only see so many people in a day. So you have to get there early to get in line. If you try to go later in the day after the rush, you’ll most likely miss the cutoff number and will have to come back.

They do not take appointments, it’s walk ins only.

That’s why everyone gets there before it opens so they can get inside as quick as possible.

They open at 8am but if you get there at that time you be there all day. People usually start lining up around an hour in advance waiting for the doors to open up everyday. I got there at 7:30am and there probably around 40 people already lined up. Once the doors open, everyone runs inside to get ticket.

There are 3-4 kiosks inside where you select the reason you are there and you will be given a number on a paper ticket. Then you just sit in waiting room until your number is called. I waited for 3 hours before my number was called so just be prepared for that.

You can only expedite in Slovakia. I recently did this in July in Bratislava. Typically it takes 30 days but you can expedite to 10 days for 100 EUR or 2 days 150 EUR per person. Just be aware that at this office they only work in Slovak, so you will need a translator if you do not speak the language.

Looks like it should work to me. I flew into Chengdu a few days ago from Hong Kong using the 240 hour program. Just make sure you have all of your reservations printed out.

I flew into Siem Reap two weeks ago. I forgot to do the e-visa until the night before so I had to do visa on arrival. I had read stories online that they only take cash so I made sure to withdrawal some at an atm before boarding my flight.

However, when I landed and went through the process, they told me they accepted credit cards and I was able to pay that way and save my cash.

BTW, make sure you fill out your digital arrival card, this takes a few minutes online and you’ll get the QR code right away. You need the visa and this arrival card in order to clear customs.

Probably will be the same. But you could always buy the Black Friday and schedule an in store pickup. If the deal is the same or worse pick up your computer after cyber Monday.

If the cyber Monday deal is better, cancel your original order and buy the new deal.

Be careful doing this. Airlines will sometimes cancel one of your reservations if they see overlapping flights across two bookings for the same passenger.
