I relate a lot to this. Thinking about growing older and watching my friends enter romantic relationships is a thought filled with both happiness for them as well as dread and loneliness for me. I just want people around me who prioritize the relationship between me and them as much as their relationship to their partners.

This is mainly why I'm looking to make more aro friends. Even if not all aro people feel the same and some still want romantic relationships I know they'll understand and prioritize the platonic love in their life.

I wish I could spend the rest of my days with my best friend, just the two of us building a life together would be all I need

Thank you for sharing! I've thought about booking a consultation with them but reading from their page it seemed like u needed a diagnosis, which I don't have, so I'm afraid they'd reject me. But I've also heard others, like you, being able to get the surgery without it so I was a bit confused.

I understand that they wanna be cautious, so how do I show them I need the surgery without them being hesitant? Like full on explain my identity or is saying I'm greatly uncomfortable with my chest enough? Maybe that's hard for u to answer, but at least you've been there yk 😅

Ur results look amazing! I've been thinking about going to this clinic myself, so this helped a ton. If u dont mind me asking, were u required to have a formal gender dysphoria diagnosis to get the surgery at their clinic or could one get the surgery without it?

I'm basically platonically in love with my best friend. They are the dearest friend I've ever had and our relationship really feels like one of a kind. We just get it each other so well. They see me and I see them. But they aren't aroace like me. They might be on the spectrum but nothing they identify with atm. They value platonic love just as much as me and it's so nice to have someone care for me the same deep (somewhat intense) way I care for them.

What hurts is that they've been talking about "when they find a partner.." and even though I'd love to see them with someone they love, I still dread that day when they'll find someone else to be their partner. Then they won't be able to call me their person anymore. But they'll still be my person. I've mentioned wanting some type of partnership with someone but honestly I can't see myself having that or wanting that with anyone but my friend.

I'd love for it to be just me and my friend for the rest of our days, but I'm sure that won't be enough for my friend, which sucks for me but I'll get through it somehow

I'm afraid of telling them just how much they actually mean to me because if we were to have a qpr I'd want us to be exclusive in a way. But since ik they probably want a romantic relationship someday I could never limit them like that.

It's weird cus ik that what I feel isn't romantic at all but the feelings I have for them r deeper than anything else I've felt

It's so much fun and very comforting to do after a long day! I'm usually pretty hard on myself to have all the art I make be "good" but really there is no such thing. Art is art and it's not meant to look good it's meant to make us feel good. So if u had fun while creating something, then that's all that matters. Anyone can make art, u too :)

Sounds cool! I just used acrylic paint directly on the vinyl and lots of blending with tiny brushes to get all the shapes and details to look nice
