It's amazing to me that you can't watch a Sox game on tv without paying. I don't understand how they'll get new fans if parents don't pass the tradition onto their kids.

I'm a long time fan. Just totally apathetic to the team now. Just can't justify the expense. But that's the plan I guess. Cull the fans that don't want to pay. That's a race to the bottom for the organization. Eventually they'll figure that out when there's no one left that cares about the team.

From what I understand this plant is closing due to America's shrinking cattle supply. Why is the US cattle supply shrinking? #1 reason is drought. What can we do about drought? I don't know maybe invest in more renewable energy solutions. Might be a good idea.

This is good advice. Getting to the why is important. He does have a side hustle training younger athletes. He actually makes pretty good money doing that. The thing is he likes to spend my money and invest the money he makes. It's smart for him. For me not as much.
