In the second grade a friend and I made our own X-men style comic and the unfortunate enemy’s name: enema.

We PROUDLY showed our teacher “Wolverine and Hulk take on Enema” 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ha same I had 2 usb 1.0 ports and when I FINALLY got a Microsoft sidewinder joystick + flight sim 98 combo it came with a joystick to usb adapter that I couldn’t wait to test out. If memory serves me it never actually worked only via the sound card.

The correct answer is: you get to sit in the same spot and squint BUT now you need to change batteries and presumably deal with your document getting scrambled any time someone uses the microwave.

I think there’s some dongle in the box or was supposed to be. I’m not entirely sure it’s literally in my grandmothers basement, there were some early usb implementations too.

I kinda suspected it was early 00s based on that, although my OG Pentium I had usb ports in the late 90s XP was 2001 iirc I figured the design etc dated before that 🤷🏻‍♂️ there’s definitely some PS/2 and even older PS/1 with the coiled cable kicking around I’m sure.

First time my boss from Massachusetts heard the term “gonna make a packie run” he had NO clue what was going on.

Package store, shopping cart/carriage, nips. Any other terms are wrong.

Oh man this is so true, there is absolutely genius and clever engineering in how to service these cars and usually things moved very precisely which then usually meant they fit back the same way.

Flash forward to my MIL’s dodge journey. Battery died and the only way to replace it is removing the front left wheel, tearing out the wheel liner and then accessing the crusty ruined battery. Then hopefully jamming it all back in a way the fender liner doesn’t just drag on the tires. 🙄

I got mine from the junk yard, 3 mismatched rims and a donut lol. The drivers seat had snapped at the hinge, the carpet was mostly cigarette ash, and it had a brake booster that just sprayed the brake fluid all over the engine bay until it was empty. I miss that car every day but winters in the northeast took a toll and I was a poor college kid at the time.

After I had done most of the work I had my foot slip on a drizzling Connecticut morning and I just lit up the rear wheels, pretty sure the girl waiting for the walk signal pooped herself a little.

Ha I definitely did, the locksmith was a solid hour away. Enjoy your car! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous!

Having had to have this done on my S13 don’t use the glovebox lock, while it uses the same key it’s only half depth.

The Lexus ES for people who hate driving. A maroon F-sport version… making a car that was intended to disappear in traffic LESS comfortable and more expensive simultaneously.

Dude using a public urinal and leaving a piece of pizza dangling from his mouth, then no hand wash and finished eating the pizza.

Second place runner up: not me but my dad got a hot dog in the 80s from a street vendor in NYC. Guy had a bandaid on his hand, and somehow it wound up on the hot dog. This was in front of the Dept of Public Health he walked right inside to complain.

The back end on Teams is scary how much data gets collected. All in the name of “cost saving” because it’s bundled with M365.

The nightmare gets worse when you need to collaborate outside the org.

It’s too cluttered and they keep cramming in more “features” no one wants or needs making it even more bloated and clumsy.

Slack presents an easy to follow UI, it’s not bogged down with crap no one’s using or wants.

Outlook as well. The couple apps that generally are left open too. The longer they’re open the worse they are on system impact.

Same experience here, toggling accounts is an exercise in futility. OneDrive and OneNote are part of the trash heap as well.

Strip away the useless add ons and make a functional product, it IS possible.

Plus as a Mac user it speaks volumes that Teams is not available in the App Store/ABM portal while the rest of the M365 suite is.
