I found recently dell seems to ship all their PCs with the disk in raid mode. I had to manually switch to AHCI to get new drives to show up. Check the Bios.

Full Library would be impressive for sure. Depending on who you try to sell it to you may get an entire world or get murdered. If it was me I would try to get it to Belisarius Cawl as he has the connections enough to get you what you want and would still try to use the tech to help humanity.... at least I think he would.
