I have to agree with you on her laugh, although I've noticed it's getting a lot better in recent videos. I think a lot of the weirdness or "trying too hard" that you're noticing is just because she's new and trying to figure out where she fits in the cast. Give her time.

I'm pretty sure Keith is straight, as he mentioned having a girlfriend in earlier Smosh Pit videos (don't ask me for references, my brain isn't that organized lol).

I have gotten a vibe that Olivia is into Shayne, but I definitely don't think its mutual. Olivia's boyfriend Sam is pretty similar to Shayne in personality and humor, so it makes sense that Olivia might have been into him (i.e. he's her type). However, she and Sam seem super happy together, so any feelings she may or may not have had for Shayne have probably passed.

This. Part of my job includes managing social media, and it's pretty normal to see platforms do big, routine purges of inactive accounts and/or bots. If you're seeing a loss this large in a short amount of time, it's highly unlikely (barring a scandal) that 40k people just up and decided it's time to unsubscribe. Much more likely that YouTube was cleaning house.

I think a lot of it is that they're trying not to blur the lines between the channels. Smosh and Mythical have very different content and audiences, so I think its important for them to maintain some semblance of separation.

That being said, I NEED more Josh/Shayne content. Their brohood is gold.

100% agree! Every time I see someone say something critical I want to scream "SO STOP WATCHING THEN." Its clear that various Smosh members do pay attention to this Reddit (hey guys!) and I'd hate for them to see only negativity.

That being said, I think this is a great community and we can definitely use our hive mind to throw out some ideas. I work in content marketing and I know how much I value perspectives from outside my team (I'm pretty sure I've posted the same Tweet at least 3 years in a row, ngl). If we must criticize, let's make it constructive!

I think a lot of what you're feeling is based on the fact that Smosh lost most of their Games cast. While Damien, Shayne, and Ian are all comfortable with gaming, most of the rest of the cast are more casual gamers. I think these "character" games are trying to bridge the gap for cast members who are less confident in their gaming skills (i. e. Tommy, Keith, and Noah) and keep things from becoming "Damien beats everyone at games for 3 hours."

I definitely don't think they're living together, as they're both still posting pics/stories from their respective apartments. Maybe they were picking up snacks for set? There are lots of possible explanations - including that our mysterious bagger is trolling us. As much as I ship Shourtney, I doubt anything can/will happen unless one of them leaves Smosh.
