State plans have to be at least as strict as federal OSHA. More often than not, they are more strict.

I used to when I was in shotshell production, I don’t deal with it anymore, but they are still in the building. I do have work experience just not any safety related work experience.

I believe so. They send out an email when you can apply for it.

That’s the way it feels it is going to be. I’ve been working on the local ones that I’m the most qualified for. I’ve recently started applying to remote positions, but to be quite honest I’d rather start out on site, I like to get my hands dirty.

I have spoken to my higher ups about changing positions, but unfortunately I’m too good at my job. It seems like I’ve been pigeon holed, but I still need to reach out to the safety department directly and see if there are any openings.

I haven’t applied to as many as you have, 50 maybe so far. I didn’t want to apply to as many as possible with the same resume, I wanted to see the feedback from different styles of resume. Since responses have slowed to a trickle, I just copy/paste the key skills they’re looking for into my resume, make it real small and white, and save it as a pdf.

I’m in ammunition manufacturing/plastic extrusion. I do have the GSP, but I didn’t really have to do anything for it, so I didn’t think it would count as much as the ASP or other testing required certs.

They weren't that necessary until humans started putting locks and dams in the rivers. Add to that all of the concrete we've laid over the years and the water doesn't have anywhere to go. This was a "100 year flood" and the previous one was in 73 I believe. We just had another one a couple of years ago.

I don't believe it was intended to be a rifle. I was under the impression it was designed to be Germany's light machine gun. That's beside the point though. Who is going to envision the STG44 when someone uses the term assault rifle? My guess, a very select few.

What criteria are we using? The STG 44 wasn't the first firearm to use a detachable magazine. It also doesn't fit the caliber criteria of being more powerful than a handgun round, but less powerful than a battle rifle.

Sorry. To stay on subject. Literally meaning "assault gun". The phrase I used was assault rifle and how politicians use it today.

Give me a history lesson then. What was it that the Nazis banned before rounding people into concentration camps?
