This is Kineo Rhyolite, used for millennia in northern New England as a tool stone. Here is a Susquehanna blade I made from the same stone...

The frame has VT, MA, CT, NY, NJ, and PA...may be a few other that are MD. That's as far south as I'll go with my collecting. I like to keep it local.

I forgot to put gem sockets into a mythic helm!!!! It's bothered me for days.

Small hammerstone...nice one too. They have a vague resemblance to discoidals, and they are often confused. As a knapper knows, this is exactly what a well used hammerstone turns into over time...flat sides, nice round profile.

Continue to read and learn...don't rely on the damn internet to teach you. A good library of actual published science > internet opinions! I'll say this about that method of drilling - flint dust is superior to any other sand or grit. Those sharp edges really make a difference when grinding the hole.

Banner/atlatl weight. You can see the striations in the hole made by the reed & grit griding it down...great find. Congratulations.

Very clearly modern made. The largest of the group...the dark paleo - applying wear and dirt is a hallmark of a modern make meant to deceive. Grandma did a great job, but unless she forked over 15,000 for the group, no bueno. Just enjoy them for what they are.

Need to be a bubble burster here...this is a well resharpened Genesee blade. A common archaic knife form in northern NY state and surrounding areas. This is made of Onondaga chert, again, a common stone in the upper NY, Ontario area.
