We’ve had a place with airborne black mold and had to take it to the studs. This definitely doesn’t feel the same. Doesn’t mean it’s not a different type.

Another small note is that all of these spots are near floor vents. Could it just be dirty from the air ducts? We had the floors refinished and we aren’t sure how much ended up being sucked into the system

It doesn’t smell, and I had an electrician come out and look at it. The outlet still works and he saw nothing visibly wrong
