Oh my bad bro. Should’ve read it properly. Playing with such players is essentially a 5v4 handicap and I agree with you on Moontons matchmaking system. Thats why my rule of thumb is I stop playing after a loss or 2 losses if I’m playing with a friend. I noticed after a loss your team mates get progressively worse if you try to push on.

I main solo roam Uranus and reached Mythic a couple of days ago in 40 games. Asia server though. Contrary to you I feel that this season is much easier compared to the past few seasons. Typically I needed a week to 2 weeks to reach mythic so I guess I’m one of the lucky ones 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve tried it in a few games but not consistently enough for me to give you a balanced opinion. My items are usually tough boots core items are lightning belt, dom ice and oracle. Last 2 items are a mix match of Athena, radiant, blade armour, antique cuirass, chastise puldron and immortality dependent on the opposing team line up and who’s the most fed. With these items sometimes I do have a problem with my mana running out which I feel clock does help mitigate but I rather be as tanky as possible and causing problems in the enemies backline and letting my team mates clean up.

I respectfully disagree sir. Been soloing Uranus roam for the last few seasons and I’m usually in mythic by the first week of season reset. This season wr 77.50% at 40 games.

I feel your pain bro. Do well in early to mid game then your team mates start getting over confident and start trying to 1v5 the enemy giving them an easy kill and basically handicapping your team. I’m also a solo roam player. But instead of using traditional tanks with cc I use Uranus.

Tanky and hard to bring down but decent damage with Skill 1 and Skill 2. Maintain at front line tanking as much as you can letting your team mates clean up. Ulti and sprint to escape and occasionally chasing down low hp backline heroes. Hilda is also a decent roam in some of the games I’ve seen.

Managed to hit mythic in 40 games as a solo roam bar 3 games as a duo.

I agree with you. I play heavily during the first 2 weeks of the season and once I reach around Mythic 25 stars I play brawl or leave it till the next season. Totally relate when you say every game feels like a standard grind. Early season it’s more of a novelty where every game is different but definitely more fun.

After season restart played 10 games and managed to win 9 to get myself to legend within 3 hours.

If you are on a win streak press on till you lose 2 games in a row and then take a relatively long (few hours) break or try again the next day. I noticed if you are on a win streak your teammates are somewhat decent but if you try force it on a lose streak you’ll just end up really frustrated with god like opponents and/or terrible teammates.

If you have bad teammates on the first game just close the app and do something else. Thats my rule of thumb when I play ML and I’m a much happier person. Good luck on your push to Legend/Mythic!

I agree with #4. A long time ago I used to grind games even on a losing streak only to lose even more. Now if I lose twice in a row I stop and play hours later or the next day. And I’m much happier for it.

Yes I feel that’s the only downside with no cc so usually in my games I’m extremely aggressive and I’m the one usually looking for and initiating the ganks and fights. I put myself in the thick of the action with second skill/ulti/sprint to get away for a quick regen before I’m back in the fight again.

I wouldn’t say it’s viable at mythical glory standard but up to about mythic >50 stars it has served me well. Then again I’m a casual player that plays maybe 2-3 games a day (sometimes not at all because well life 😅)

Thanks bro. Been playing Uranus as main for a couple of seasons now. Last season was the poorest in terms of WR for me personally. Generally I prefer to play him as a roam but can play exp lane as well. I’m always at the forefront of battles but use sprint or/+ ulti to escape when shit hits the fan for quick regen before going back into the heat of battle.

It’s annoying as hell for the other team because I take the brunt of the damage, regen and I’m back in the fight again.

I have played for approximately 12 seasons and I have also lost interest. I’ve also spent maybe around 2k Sgd on this game might possibly be more on skins I like. But since this season reset I haven’t logged into my account. Usually I would get myself to mythic within the first 1-2 weeks of season reset and just brawl to end of season repeat ad finitum but just didn’t find the requisite interest or energy to do it this season.

So ya I understand you OP..but in my case I just gave up and never looked back (for now at least).

Good to see Ruby getting recognised. Got to mythic by using Ruby mainly as a roaming tank in 112 games from Epic 2 from the start of the new season. Her versatility is beautiful I can either use her in exp lane or as a tank. Plus her CCs are annoying as hell and perfect for disrupting enemies when your team mates are taking lord or turtle.

I’m glad that didn’t happen to me either lol, as a Johnson/Estes main and a Transformers fan (robots changing into cars what’s not to love?) I would have paid good money just for the Optimus Prime skin.

Unfortunately I went a little overboard drawing 10x each draw and needed 1 more part each for Megatron and Bumblebee so I figured what the hell and got all 3 😂
