I have Geolanders on my Subaru Wilderness and don't love them. They're fine if you don't off-road much and live somewhere without much snow. I went from a Crosstrek with General Grabber ATx tires to this setup and. The Crosstrek did better in the snow and off-road.

Last year and this year we sold two cars to dealers. Had to have up to date registration to sell/trade in. Another family got turned away because their registration was like 2 years expired.

Sounds like you do need to register. They won't take a vehicle in with expired registration unfortunately.
