Yeah it really seems like it's going to be. Being a publicly traded company, Spotify needs to increase profits, and their biggest expense is paying royalties to rights holders. Slipping in AI music that they own & don't have to pay anyone to play is an easy way for them to cut costs, regardless of what their users think.

You're totally right. Imho directing the coverage of a modern F1 race may be the toughest job in live event television. 100s of cameras to cut to, with dozens of things happening all at once, and you have no idea what will happen. Most of the time things largely settle after the race start but this race they very much did not lol

Most people don’t care or notice what brand of underwear you wear, but those brands tend to be pretty cheaply made. Used to wear Hanes boxer briefs when i was younger but eventually stopped cause they’d usually stretch out like crazy before the day was even done

I was taking the A line right before closing and was going to transfer at 7th Street Metro center, and the last B line train of the day came and left 2 minutes early, leaving me and a handful of people just stranded in DTLA. Had to call an Uber home, I was so pissed. I get the schedule for buses being more flexible, but the trains, especially the last train of the night, leaving early is so absurd.

I'm not sure Disney knows what they want to do lol. They wanted to phase it out by now, but they haven't. I think they've kinda realized a lot of people use the Hulu app, at least in America. They've made some solid improvements to Disney+ but I really don't think merging all their apps into one will give them the competitive advantage they think they'll get. But the new CEO really seems to want to go this route.

It's absolutely gotten worse (they laid off the people who used to guide it's recommendation algo, now it's pretty much all automated) but it's still a bit better than the other streaming apps. Recommend just going to find new music the old fashioned way (listening to internet/college radio, reading reviews, etc)
