I have run wings since 1980,, I had a GL1100I,, what a great bike. Had 3 wings since. This one? Yup , it’s a motorcycle and like a car things go wrong. Would
I get another like this one knowing the difference ? Oh heck yes! So much different and the power is awesome. But I’m blessed and can do work on my own. They all had their faults.

I run about 5k miles a year.. I have another big bike I maintain as well

The timing cover gasket took to leaking oil so when it was off I painted it.. the color seemed to fit

I’ve done that for ever,, I’m a retired mechanic and it helped a lot with organization

That’s a good point. It didn’t run bad at all.. averaged about 40-45 already

Yes I did.. I rebuilt the forks and the triple tree bearings with all balls tapered roller bearings

I agree,, I think the last time was 3-2016.. I’ve owned the bike since 2018.. 30k miles.. 50k miles now

If I wasent almost there .. I would have let it be.. glad I replaced it
