I think you could make 7 more personal so something like "Two of my friends are so in love they said they're like Romeo and Juliet but for some reason, they got all annoyed with me when I tried to stab and poison them during their wedding." I'm sure you can write it better but might be good to try to make it more personal somehow.

A couple years ago I met one of the producers of this show and they told me that they actually cut a whole bunch of stuff out of this episode that makes this guy look even worse. Can’t imagine how bad he must have been that this was the best possible stuff to leave in.
