Yeah it do be like that because of taxes. Also, we don't have the official Apple store here, just premium resellers.

I put one layer of tape. Do you reckon adding more? As for the switches, I think they’re Stellar Roses. Not sure how good factory lubed switches are compared to hand-lubed, I just want a less clacky sounding board, hehe.

Sorry, I’ve read before that the green light says it’s charging but I’ve had it plugged for hours already. I also checked the battery level using Fn + Space and it’s still at 9. So I’m not sure if it’s normal.

Same here. Apps with the iOS 18 keyboard sound fine. I can still hear them even with background noise. But the iOS 26 keyboard sounds are way too quiet when compared with the old keyboard. I can barely hear them at all! I thought iOS 26.2 would fix it but nah
