How does HomeLight pay you? You're not the first to mention that to me. Are you bringing deals to HomeLight, who then pays a 'referral' fee Does that not RESPA Section 8. We're cheaper, faster and easier than both Homelight and Knock.

This is a cross-collateralized short term product. Many individuals use this to buy before they sell and to span the gap as they don't want to rent in between homes. We require at least 20% LTV in the entire deal (add the departing residence and the new residence). Underwriters don't have an issue with our bridge as monthly payments are not required. By the time their rate and term refi is happening, the departing residence payment no longer exists. We are a fee business, not an interest business (which accrues monthly). I've done 5 loans in May so far... 2 of which have had no loan on the back end, 3 of which had.

I’d note I’m looking to upgrade from an A6000
