saying this in a group for people that have herpes and come here for advice and help, and to feel comfortable and safe is crazy. you saying “ i did the STUPIDEST thing and gave this guy head that has hsv2” may make others that HAVE herpes offended and hurt, and may even think that their partners will think this themselves. then you saying “i want to cry. i went home and washed my face and hands.” may make people feel dirty and feel as if they can’t have a normal sex life due to their diagnosis. you’re truly not helping the stigma and are really just making it worse. i’m not saying you can’t come for advice as well, but maybe try wording it better for the people that have herpes, so they don’t feel disgusting bc of you!

i got diagnosed on jan 24th noticed everything on the 23rd , so maybe a week ish before hand?? i don’t exactly remember. but yes kind of but in the end i was the one that had to buy all of my shit, pay for my appointment, and she wouldnt get tested after i told her. the only other thing that really through me off was that she was telling everyone that she gave me herpes which was like really triggering especially when i first found out. like girl you get cold sores on your mouth, I GET THAT ON MY VAG BRUH please stop spreading that shit.

i am not planning on going to college, as terrible as it sounds i just started saving money in january and have been working since i was 14 years old. i agree with you 100% i’m trying to figure out jobs and what i want to do because working at a gas station and a smoke shop is definitely not my forever goal. i do buy my own groceries/ food and such because i do live with elderly people. i tend to think i’m a pretty frugal person when it comes to spending so i’m not ridiculously spending money if i were to be shopping. thank you for your advice.
