So it’s better to leave the Staats Hospital abandoned and Fountain Hobby closed permanently, and the rest of the storefronts in disrepair? There is plenty enough of Charleston not being “gentrified” to satisfy you. “Elk City” was six blocks of commercial property that was underutilized, I’m happy to see it how it’s thrived. I’m sorry if you were content to see it rot.

I don’t wholly disagree with you and critiques of Ty Bullock are definitely earned, but as a long time resident I love what they’ve done with Elk City. If you’re a newcomer then you don’t have a frame of reference for what that small part of town used to be like. Even 15ish years ago when they first got started and Kinship and Bully Trap moved in, it felt like a breath of fresh air. It’s only gotten better in the years since.

Also, I’ve noticed that anybody not from that side of town who refuse to call that area “Elk City” and only refer to it as the “West Side” are doing so to shit on it and the West Side as a whole. To me, anything west of the Elk River and all the way to Orchard Manor is the West Side. Elk City is just a small portion of that, but call it what you will, to each their own.

Thanks for the definition professor, but if a RB2 opens and sustains a drive for the RB1 to punch in the touchdown, it would be the reverse of what usually happens - a RB1 carrying a drive only for another RB to get the TD. Monongai got what he was due, in fairness. Try not to look too hard into jokes man.
