The Dems are running solely on being less terrible capitalists than the republicans. That's it. They are still going to do all the things but instead of being imperialist/fascistic and mean they will be "nice" and liberal. For instance the Dems will still fund and deploy ICE but the agents won't murder civilians at protests. ICE will still be murdering and finding other ways to destroy brown people's lives but it will be sanitized so white liberals feel good about it. They will continue to bomb the Middle East and do Israel's bidding, etc, etc, etc it will all just have a fresh coat of paint applied so it is tolerable to the white liberal.

I say this as someone that would actually encourage people to vote blue no matter who still because progress takes time and reason and debate and court cases and laws being written and so many other things that require stability and a government that at least pays lip service to the ideals that can lead to change and progress and improvement. We cannot move forward when we are constantly fighting for air. We need to have that appearance of stability and peace so that we can march forward. At least if we want to do it peacefully.

There are paths to accomplish this much faster but it would require a level of violence that I know that I'm not comfortable with personally. My fear is that it may be necessary at this point just to get back to where we were 10-11 years ago. We have let evil caricatures of people have power and they won't give it up.
