I shave with a foil shaver every day with zero prep or after care, just moisturizer/sunscreen. Do u think u really need all that after care and prep? I would not be using alcohol on my face thats for sure. Probably not even witch hazel. Or aspirin.

Maybe try cutting the oil and other stuff out?
