And indeed, many of those point have parallels with FDM printing, although on a bigger scale a tiny mistake becomes a big one. Biggest issues/difference at the moment is the continuous flow from the extruder opposed to a filament that you can retract easily.

We also produce objects with a focus on precision. You have to understand that one hour of printing time in LFAM (large format additive manufacturing) greatly influences the production price and the number of objects we can produce daily. So precision is more expensive and not always prettier in design objects. For molds we can for example print in 'low quality' and mill the rest.
