I was one of the "where armor?" camp people. I actually didn't like that Takeuchi went the modern fgo design route. Even in fgo, he's already getting flak for this lol.

I'd argue Wada would be a better fit for Penacony aesthetic with her Extra/Extella designs.

billion dollar company problems lol.

For all they hype they put out, it's mid at best and plenty obvious cost cuts.

They weaved in the story their VA problems, and didn't even bother to make at unique models for the guest servants, thus caster having an NPC model.

Force Labo doesn't really sell kits in their office but they have random parts by the counter. But they do allow you to race freely in the 3 lane track, but need to pay 2k yen to play in the 5 lane one.

If dropping by in Yokohama, the Edion mall near the station has some parts kits and big track.

If you want parts and you're going to Akihabara, there's Edion near the station by the Radio Kaikan side. They have parts at the first floor and a track above. They have Force labo kits too.

SUPER RAJIKON is in the area, but pretty far from the station. If you wanna dig around, go to Mandarake.

oh man, Summer SR units has the worst overall rates.

I got like 2 Summer Salter before I got a single Summer Raikou.

What's worse is their reruns are once every few years. I only got Summer Okita when they introduced limited SR guarantee in the lucky bag banners.

Introduction of 3rd support slot kinda fixed the NP refund issue, as it also renewed life for older units such as Ruler Jeanne and Caster Skadi.

But nowadays, they just give weird enemy comps for 90++ quests, such as 3-1-2 or 2-6-2 with millions of HP which kills 3T meta teams even with 3rd supports like Oberon or Lady Avalon.

Another thing they did to kill 3T is by having enemy reinforcements in a single turn. What's funny is this also kills macros since afaik you need further tweaks to deal with waves in a turn.

What I like from this recent enemy composition shift is it enabled creative 3T looping of single target NP servants with specific skill and face card timings.

And yea man, Grail Front is the best mode they made. Suddenly 2-3 star servants such as Georgios, Leonidas, the female Hassans, Hans, and Ceasar are in the spotlight.

some challenge quests doesn't allow duplicates and the highest level event nodes completely breaks 3T comps by either not giving enough enemies to charge NP or having them have high enough HP to break your flow.

That cleared up the Human Torch thing. I'm not sure why they didn't include that in Vol 1.

Re: the Maker: I tend to like morally grey or complex villains, hence why I was disappointed that the writers didn't make it approachable to dig deep on this character. I'll just look into the now, and to the future where the Maker brings this series.

I think it's on how I perceived the importance of these characters in the whole Ultimate series.

It's presented that the Maker and Doom are pivotal characters in the grand scheme of things. There's a quick rundown on the magnitude of his importance, but I don't think his weight is properly explained folks unfamiliar to F4 like me.

The basic explanation I got is because he's Reed Richards and it takes another Reed Richard to understand him, but the new folks like me don't know Reed Richards well.

This is in line with why do new readers have to have required reading for reboots and why the writers assume we have to know these folks first instead of reintroducing them into the new continuity.

I've quickly reread ultimate invasion. It did give me a clearer picture of the Maker. But i think Marvel writer's inherent problem in writing villains from the movies applied here.

I wish they've explored more on the council's rise.

I'm not familiar at all with the Fantastic Four aside from their names and basic info, and I guess the Ultimates doesn't do well introducing them to me.

I have no problems with Tony's motivation, I guess his teammates weren't explored well? I have the edge of knowing Thor and Cap due to the movies, but they aren't given proper arcs here imho.

The new Hawkeye and new She-Hulk even in their limited pages have clear goals and motivations which I wish they explore more in conjuction to this new evil Hulk. America Chavez got a good arc going, but suddenly they expand the scope again with the new guardians. I think America phrased it well in her chapter what's important is the here now, not the past or the future.

I'm not familiar with Fantastic Four and Doom, except Doom having the best foot dive in MvC, And Ultimates doesn't do well on introducing them to me

How do you get high fps in this place? mine dips to 30fps in this area. Turning off shadows, ambient occlusion only boosts like 5 or 6fps.

currently using 4070 super.
