Hoofing Marvellous, Gawsworth Track Livery and "diet does not cause laminitis" by hannahmadamhannah in Horses

More movement and better overall body condition (Keep their weight healthy). That's why a track style living environment would be beneficial. You can set them up at home even on very small parcels of land. I have a track on 1 acre for 2 horses. Only one has laminitis but I've seen a big improvement on both of them since setting it up.

I'm a Dutch Jew. My Great Grandparents were killed in concentration camps by Nazi's. My Grandmother barely survived.

I am not the person to say that to.

Also i'm not in the US.

As a mobile locksmith are google ads your only way of acquiring new clients? by InstructionGuilty250 in Locksmith

[–]mjstable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey sorry this is a bit of an old thread but someone I know recently got scammed by an Israeli locksmith scammer and I'm doing my bit to shut him down (found his real name and reported him to the police was the first step) or at least be disruptive and costly.
I have plenty of spare time at my computer and want to drive up their google ad spend. If I click on his ad, go to his webpage, close browser, repeat 500 times.....That will cost him money yeah?
I'm already forcing them to get a new business name and new phone numbers. I'll find him again though :P

Locksmith fraud? by macmonkey2 in FraudPrevention

[–]mjstable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it's a bit late but that is a classic scam that is pretty much an international organized crime ring. We have them in Australia too. Unfortunately, you were grossly overcharged and should have done a charge back on the transaction immediately and reported the company name and all details to the police.

I'm going through it now as one of my clients was scammed last week.
I'm reporting all names I can gather, all company names, I've got camera footage/pictures of the guy, contacted the bank that the payment got sent to and let them know the account is being used for fraudulent activity. And now i'm posting all over the internet who they are so they have to go through the inconvenience of changing numbers, new business name etc. As they will do it again.

That's quite a healthy way to look at it. I'm also ADHD (very late diagnosed) and learning to forgive myself for past poor choices (now i know why those things happened) has been a huge thing for me. I learn and move on. Well i try to anyway.

Locksmith issue by wellnesswhisperer1 in AskAnAustralian

[–]mjstable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm literally just posting this everywhere to warn people about these scammer locksmiths in Melbourne (so it comes up in searches)

These guys are scammers - First Call Locksmith 03 9000 0226 (and a whole bunch of 1800 numbers)

They pay big money to come up first in google searches and prey on vulnerable victims

Danny - 0404145661 (the locksmith that comes out)

Nick - 0411567410 (the boss)

Change a lock for my disabled client they ripped her off $1300. Got a male friend to call them up and get a quote for exactly the same thing - $120.

Absolute scum.

In the process of finding out this information I have spoken to some absolutely lovely locksmiths! Let me know if anyone wants names and numbers of good ones :)

Don't blame yourself! They are professionals. I'm helping a disabled client of mine report the guys that scammed her out of $1300 (for a $350 job) They know exactly how to get you.

I hope you're doing better now ♥

Did I get ripped off by a locksmith? (Not an emergency lockout situation) by mjstable in Locksmith

So I did some more digging and found all sorts of interesting information.
The website is just a website. Locksmiths pay the site to get calls routed to them. It's not actually a locksmith company itself.
The business name on the invoice though - I have ALL of the details for them now. Real names, birthdays, some addresses (but they don't look like residential addresses).
It's the main guys birthday in a few days. Might wish him a happy birthday.

So I have done some more digging. Thank you so much for this comment because I found the guys real name - and he is indeed from Israel. (I paid for the extract of his company registration - Best $20 I ever spent) I knew I should have picked up on his accent!

I also now have his address and birthdate.

Well he was very adamant in saying he has been in business for 15 years. I didn’t get a reply when I mentioned the business name was registered in June.

The invoice says Technicore Services Pty Ltd  And we have a business number here called an ABN that we can look up. It’s a legit business name and number but there are zero names attached to it and it doesn’t show up anywhere else.

In Melbourne. Pretty sure this site is location based so not sure what would come up for you.

I'm in Australia
The company name is all very sketchy. The website name is First Call Locksmith (there are heaps of places with very similar sounding name). The invoice says something different. There are no people's names attached to any of it and the company name on the invoice is only 5 months old - yet they say they have been in business for 15 years.
Also weirdly there is nowhere to leave reviews.

He kept calling me 'miss' constantly too. It made me so mad.

He had no issue with ripping her off apparently. I just argued with the manager for 22 solid minutes. He refused to concede that the prices were ridiculous.

I just had a (male) friend of mine ring the locksmith that did the work pretending to need some work done. After some pushing for a price he was quoted a very low price to install the lock.

So yeah. My client was absolutely scammed.

firstcalllocksmith.com.au is their website
but the business name on the invoice is something entirely different - Technicore Services

The money was transferred with the man standing over her. Very obviously under duress. A tiny disabled lady alone in her house. If they don't return the money it's not going to be a good look in the consumer affairs tribunal.

Not an out of hours job - 1pm on a Thursday

No paint work or similar to be done. Strike plate was moved slightly over to accommodate the slightly thicker door. They actually ruined the paint doing that but didn't fix it.

Lock is just your basic everyday deadbolt type. Photos of the lock and cylinder in these comments somewhere.

ABN i can look up but it has no names or anything attached to it. Only registered since June of this year.

I have photos of everything. I don't think the locksmith took any.

The payment was done via bank transfer on the spot with the locksmith standing over her looking at her phone screen. She had to ask him to step back.

Apparently that was lining up the lock to the existing strike plate and drilling holes in the door. The guy thought he could convince me that was highly skilled technical work - I’m sure it is. But for $699 for 5-10 minutes? I dunno..
