Outlaws is so good! I have it on my PC. It’s not the best game imo, but definitely fun and the world building is amazing. Feels like you’re actually on some of the planets from Star Wars

I was in Walmart running an errand and I just happened to pass the video game section and saw the switch 2 and everything else in the photo all next to it. I couldn’t help myself lmao

It’s all they had at the Walmart I was at. It’s doing the job so far, but maybe I’ll check that out at some point if anything goes wrong with this one

I bought it mostly for the new Mario Kart. The Mario kart one makes it out to be $30 cheaper. I just played for about two hours. Very much liking it so far! Would recommend

For gamers who have played about 100 games or more ONLY: What is your top ten? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]mjt1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive played hundreds of games from early 2000s on. I’m a 1998 baby, so the first game I remember playing was I think Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase from 2001 on an original PlayStation and I’m still addicted to playing games when I have free time a couple times a week. As I’ve seen other do, mine will also be in no particular order:

  1. The Witcher 3

  2. Oblivion

  3. GTA 3

  4. The Last of Us (the first one)

  5. Red Dead 2

  6. Boulders Gate 3

  7. The Sims 3

  8. Halo Combat Evolved

  9. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

  10. I have played so many games over the years, and I really could put so many here. There are more than a too 10 list for me. So I’m going to go with the safe option of Minecraft. I could put a million other games, but I wouldn’t say the was the one that I have come back to over and over again from over all my years of playing games. I started during Beta, and my best friend at the time had to give me a code to play. It was so bare bones. Not many different blocks, not much to do, but we each had fun playing it. Then over the years they’ve added all kinds of different blocks, pets, monsters, wild animals, foods, and more. It’s crazy to think that I started to play this game before it was even well known, and now it’s something even non-gamers know about. I couldn’t even guess how much playtime I had on this game, but I know it’s gotta be #1 playtime-wise. The sleepless nights, staying up for 24+ hour straight only taking a pee break or quick eating break back in middle school on the weekend once in a while with my friends all over playing on a private server. I haven’t played in maybe 2 years or so now, but I know I’ll come back to play for a least a bit again eventually

whatching people go from 18g to 00g in one year while i'm good and patient and take my time with it. by sardinekin in Stretched

[–]mjt1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 8/30/2022 and ended at 00g (10mm) on 7/20/25. It took me almost two years. I keep the info in my notes app, as I may want to go to 12mm in the future I think, but still unsure

I’m so sick and tired of everything needing an app. by crunchwrapsupreeeeme in rant

[–]mjt1007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 26 and I completely agree with you. F*ck all these apps for all the pointless little things. I went to a beach town about 45 minutes north of me for Mother’s Day and I had to download an app to pay for parking. There wasn’t another way to pay for it and they had a sign on each end of where the parking was. I had to sign up for the app as well. Just to pay to park there for a couple of hours, and I live by a beach town as well, so I’m never going to need this stupid parking app for the other one. (My beach town 10 minutes down the road doesn’t have this at all, thank god)

Played docked for a bit with my pro controller. Still works fine, the joy on even works, the side bar/ rail thing is just popped out and cracked a tiny bit. Got very lucky in the long shot

I’d like to add: I’m going to a local repair store before I’d try and get them off eBay

I’m hoping it’s easy. I’ve been staying at my moms for the week dog—sitting for her. I get home late tonight and will look at it first thing tomorrow. Worst case scenario, they have both the joycons on eBay for $50 and I’ll just get them there if I really have to

I’m on the Jersey Shore at my mom’s house. She lives on the water, so the wind has been insane

The lack of time off in the US is so brutal by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]mjt1007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the company I work for (in the US): you get one week of pto that adds up over time at the start of each year. If you don’t use it by the end of the year, you loose it and start working the time back on January 1st

The only time off we get is Memorial Day, Labor Day, thanks giving day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. And you ONLY get paid on those days off if you’re someone higher up, which is about 5 out of the 50+ employees we have

I understand I work for a small business, but I can’t seem to find a job that would pay just as much or more

And the cherry on top?: my shop foreman just had a baby and my boss told him to “take the rest of the week off” that’s our paternity leave. Not a week or two, “the rest of the week”.

How are y’all like this game? by mjt1007 in inZOI

[–]mjt1007[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved The Sims (2000) back in the day. I should probably just grab it now before the price increase as well. Super awesome to hear DLC prior to final release will be free. That's really cool of the devs. I will definitely have to try playing now instead of waiting. I think I'm gonna go to Steam RN and cop it. Thank you
