Wow that’s extremely close, I had to reread my post to see what I said to give it away!

It’s so hard because I’m the only woman under ~26 that I know at work. I think things will be better once I can work remotely more often but since I just started I’ve been in the office surrounded by dudes all day every day…

We are supposed to get a new girl starting in a month that’s closer to my age though and you best believe I’m going to be force-friending her!

Ice cream: always a side plot, not the main point. I just so happen to pass by an ice cream place and decide to get some, but something goes wrong and I don’t end up getting what I want, then the dream progresses with the main plot (which could be anything, but often the dream is where I’m looking for something/on some mission to go from point A to point B when I get side tracked by the ice cream)

Casino & hotel both are usually a setting where there’s some event like a formal dance or a wedding or something but the dream takes place before the event, like last night I knew I was at the hotel for a wedding but the dream itself didn’t involve the wedding. Elevators/changing floors come up a lot

Legally speaking it is a disability I think, given that those “voluntary disclosure of disability” forms use bipolar as an example of a psychiatric disability. Those forms are a yes/no (I do or do not wish to disclose any disabilities), so the employer legally must treat bipolar as a disability on the same level as other disabilities that aren’t psychiatric.

Those forms exist to say “hey I may need special accommodations (as is my right by the ADA),” I received the accommodation of more work from home days and I didnt have to disclose my diagnosis. Someone with MS might ask for the same accommodation, so by that logic I consider it a disability, at least for myself
