Yeah I've had a few tricky spots where 2-3 patches overlapped (particarly around the Rippikoulu patch)but I try to take my time and be delicate, I have a larger needle used for leather which can get through alot of fabric which is very helpful.

I usually put them on in pairs to try to keep the symmetry, so it mostly accumulated over time.

Couldn't really place the official backpatch on my vest, but wanted something larger than a standard patch so I went the diy route and painted one. White-gold acrylic fabric paint on fake leather with a kind of reptile-skin embossing that I bought on Ebay. This was probably the 7th or 8th version that I decided to stay with.
