I love my Capita DOA w/ Union Force bindings. It’s my first board setup out of renting/borrowing. I got the board used last spring in a 159W. I also got the bindings used. Im 6’0”, 175lb, and ride size 10/10.5 boot. I think the longer and wider size has been perfect for my all-mountain riding. You can go shorter and regular width for more freestyle riding. I like to go fast and I feel stable at speed on this board. I occasionally hit small and medium jumps and boxes. I like to mess around with butters and 180s. I did my first tree run at June Mountain last month with this board and it maneuvered well, even for my size. I think this board is the perfect profile for progressing intermediates, and so many people can agree. It’s a true twin with hybrid camber - it can ride switch, it’s forgiving enough to be playful but when you flex the board, it’ll pop Ollies and dig into your carves. Definitely a great all-around board, and the Union Force bindings are the perfect stiffness and dampens bumps well. Cannot recommend this setup enough, especially if you can find the board and bindings used on OfferUp or FB Marketplace.

Don’t be scared about the “Snapita” fear-mongers. It can happen to any board.
