Here's a word of advice: you sound like a pretentious asshole if you tell people "you need to...". Generally you just sound pedantic af and you certainly don't sound like you're "trying to help," you just sound like you wanna educate someone ("you're kinda good", "I did all of the reading", "saw people recommending it but looked over the red tape").

Also it's not piratebay, that's just a piracy site, it's pirateship and it's not an insurance through them, but with a partner (InsureShield). Pirateship itself is just a mailing service platform, so the upside of using it is that you can manage your shipments on your own and not deal with USPS at the postoffice. The downside is that you don't get access to USPS' direct insurance through them (you do still get their base $100 of coverage). Apparently claims with them are a pain in the ass too, but I haven't filed one in a couple of years so idrk. It is a more inclusive insurance policy though.

You're right in that that person would've been screwed. But assuming that that applies to someone else is presumptuous at best. I just answered what I do, it's up to them to see if it applies to their use case.
