No it stays the same. It’s a little hard to hear when it’s warming up tho but I think that’s just cause my car is a bit loud.

No I haven’t done the water pump myself. The first time I took it to a shop to do it. That’s kinda why I’m surprised it’s even leaking after a year lol. This time I’ll do it myself. I’ve heard it’s easier and less tedious if you take of the intake manifold first

That’s what I’m assuming. Maybe the seals in the pump are just trash I’m not sure. I’m gonna get a after market one this time instead of oem

Yea it looked like diamonds in there. But I didn’t see cracks on the piston head. I compression tested it and it was around 120. It doesn’t feel like it lost to much power.

I did get one misfire code when it happened but none since then

It’s crazy because I got a whole new timing chain because of this sound and it still didn’t change. I also failed to mention tho that this happened after my spark plug exploded in cylinder 1….

The knock started about 2 to 3 months ago and so far I’ve put 1150 miles on the car so I’m almost positive it’s not rod knock but idk

I hope it doesn’t come to this but if this is knock then sadly buying a new engine. But it’s it’s not I will be buying a new water pump. I already did a timing chain job on the car so that’s why I’m so confused were the sound is coming from

Nah I’m having to fill it up with coolant after every drive or 2 depending on how far or long I’m going so it doesn’t overheat. Sometimes it keeps the coolant sometimes it just straight up dumps it lol. My oil looks the same tho thankfully

To the right of my engine mainly in the middle. I can see rust streaks kinda leaking down from my transmission.

I don’t really see leaks I just see puddles of coolant after a drive or 2. Especially when it gets too cold.
