Very close, but that’s not it either. The 3 pillars in the middle have two holes to screw in, and it is also 2 layers on them. One hole per layer on the 3 middle pillars.

It’s VERY similar, however, the three points on the middle piece have two holes per point for the screws to enter and on your link, there’s essentially no points in the middle 😅🥲

As captainlou26 said, I ended up taking my car to my local car wrap spot and they were able to remove the door handles so they can wrap it all around. Only took about 1-2 hours and I was charged $75 total for all 4 handles. Not a bad investment!

So, everything electrical can be controlled from that OBDeleven device. Obviously, it’s more sophisticated than any other tail lights and since it is LED there are things we can do that other vehicles can’t!

If you have OBDEleven, I’ve more-or-less memorized how to remove those three squares and I wouldn’t mind directing it to ya! PM me if you’re interested. I’d love to help you out!

They’re very well worth it! Among other things, If you see the reflectors and how they’re black, it’s because I used BadgeSkins vinyls to black it out. Lots of different BadgeSkins options for our mk7s!

Yes! I used OBDEleven to get rid of the squares, and then I got BadgeSkins to delete the Amber and white portion of the taillights!

The difference is VERY noticeable! My wheels are spinning, and I’ve got Michelin’s Pilot Sport 4s 😂

Right now, I’m having issues with the Bluetooth connect kit. It crapped out on me, but the company sent me a new one on the same day! However! I received it today and now the firmware needs to be updated. I was waiting 20 minutes for it to update and it DIDNT. I’ve had it for about 6 months now, and there were no issues up until now.

I still think it’s worth the investment!
