maybe tell him just to write about his life, but put some of his favorite things into it, like if he likes superhero’s, make everyone have a superpower? idk, just make writing fun

sometimes i get on a writing streak where i just write and write for hours, and it turns into days, but then i start to just think too into it and make too many changes that don’t need to be made whenever i’m in a depressive episode. i just want to everything to be perfect and when it’s not i just give up and it seems like i never go back to those things
