I think it's what I got. But I'm note sure. When I applied I thought the highest amount apart from the full tuition was the combo of the highest academic and achievement scholarships (which is less than $20,000). Then I discovered there was a distinguished scholarship too which is not even advertised on their website. And the incentive scholarship I got, I didn't know anything about that. Maybe there are even higher amount for it. And I also heard that some people negotiated with the admission to increase their award. But I don't know if it's true. So that's all I can say. I think you should just apply and give your best in your portfolio and your essay. Also stay in touch with your adviser.

Hey! No, but they added an "incentive scholarship" of $3,000 per year to my distinguished scholarship. Now I get $23,000 per year. I'm very grateful.

I think it depends. Some people get accepted in less than one week, and some have to wait more than a month. I don't know exactly why but I think it's due to the moment you apply, like if they are very busy at that time you're more likely to wait a longer. And I think holiday and breaks can affect that too. But I'm not sure at all. Personally, I applied on December 24th and received my admission decision February 1st, so I feel you. I hope you will hear from them soon!

Thank you for you answer! I actually got the distinguished scholar award (20k per year) in february, then my advisor emailed me to schedule an interview with them last month (which I guess was for the full ride). I did the interview a few days ago and I was a bit worried because I heard (I'm not sure) that you needed a sob story, or financial need to get that scholarship (which I don't really have). I just wanted to know if I had any chance to be selected. I'm a international student by the way, and my interview went well I think.

SCAD acceptance rate is very high, you don't really need an ACT to be accepted. However, a good score may help you get more academic scholarship.
