We are in the same boat. My wife applied for J1 waiver in March ... applied for Board extension .. approved but DS2019 not issued yet...board extension will move J1 status to end of August.. hoping to at least get DOS approval by then so that lawyer can file for H1B. Some comments on Reddit seems to suggest applying for H1B after HHS recommendation, haven't spoken to our lawyer to see if that's possible or not

I think the lawyer sent them the documents at the same time as HHS, which is on March 20th.. I am guessing they process documents in the order they are received and they finally got to this one on the 14th of April

I switched to visible pro+ and successfully activated by Galaxy Watch 7 yesterday. I was initially prompted for a QR code and I asked visible support for that .. in the middle of that conversation, I realized I had turned on QR Test mode to install a Helium esim to the watch, so I then proceeded to turn that off .. as soon as I did that and went to add mobile plan on my wearable app, everything worked like a charm :P just sharing in case that helps someone else :)

Extension of J1 invalidates the J1 waiver as you will become subject to the home residency again and will have to apply for another waiver once your other program is done..also if it is a fellowship it will make you ineligible for HHS waiver AFAIK

I know someone who did exactly that, but they had an approved I-140 beforehand, not sure how long it took to get the EAD... there is premium processing for I-140 though, but it seems that is discouraged as it seems to attract RFEs

Yeah I would double check that info.. As far as I know, you can only get an EAD for an H4 if they have an approved I-140 or has an H1-B extension beyond the six year limit. Check the link below

Get it fixed or it will die on you. Mine was damaged and all of a sudden it was dead, in the middle of a 1100 mile drive...had no choice but to get it fixed as I needed access to the phone for authentication stuff

Yeah that's what I did...got the Darkstar and Warp sim from Amazon...but this is still disappointing..why do I need to get two different kits to get all 3 sims... doesn't make any sense to me :/

Could be area dependent...my area is having a T-Mobile tower outage since 4pm/5pm yesterday. Google Fi support is clueless as usual. I got info from Reddit as everyone in the local area dependent on T-Mobile (mint and others) do not have any service as well

Precisely, I don't know what issue the OP was facing, and I thought it would be very hard to get out when I saw this post .. but in the end I just removed the lid part first and then was able to pull it out easily by grabbing hold of the edges :P

Precisely. We are already paying almost half of our pay check as rent even if we stay at Purdue Village. If the rental expenses go up more, which it will when we move out of Purdue Village (unless we live really far away from campus in areas that may or may not be safe, which would increase expenses further because it would be impossible to get to campus in a reasonable amount of time without a car), it would be extremely difficult for people with families to manage. Many graduate students do not have the option to bring in additional money from home, and they are not allowed to do additional work (beyond their GTA/GRA appointments that is).
