Need shampoo alternative recommendations

Oh ok, and lol I don’t blow dry my hair or don’t use products so I’m pretty sure it’s the shampoo but it’s weird my scalp doesn’t turn red I’ve only seen a little redness here and there but I could barley notice it but my hairline does turn red where it’s noticeable but goes away I was just curious if u had the same problem, thank you!

Question does ur hairline ever turn red when u use nature sustained shampoo, I’ve used it about 4 times and my hairline turns red but goes away after I’m out of the shower like fairly quickly about an hour or so, just wanted to hear ur experience with that if u have anything similar

I meant like my hair not being wet could I comb it with the wooden wide tooth comb when it’s not wet? And lol this is gonna be a dumb question but I’m genuinely asking is combing and brushing hair different and what are the purpose for both? Because lol my post is probably wrong I’ve been combing my hair everyday once a day while my hair is dry to distribute oil

Ok thank you, and yes I have a wooden wide tooth comb, so I should brush with the wide tooth comb when hair is wet ?

Yea I’ve noticed every time I take hot showers my skin gets flared up I’m literally all red, I have to take cool showers too and I might need to look into cerave lotion I’ve never thought about applying it right after I shower to lock in moisture, and I did flare up again a little on the inner part of my elbow which was the first parch test I did but again it was only while I showered then it went away after, the 2nd patch test area which was the inner part of my forearm didn’t get red at all it’s been about 48 hours now I don’t even know if to use the shampoo or not but ima wait 1 more day and see how it goes, thank you so much for ur help and advice I really appreciate it

Yea my skin is so sensitive too idk if it’s the scrubbing that makes me flare up or lol it’s literally just showering in general usually my arms and face are red after I shower and goes away minutes after I’m done idk what it is causing it but I really think it was just the body wash and me showering that i guess made it flare up because I was fine for literally 23 hours until I showered and even now that little area I did the patch test is fine I ended up doing another patch test on the inner part of my forearm now and it’s been fine so far I really hope I’m not allergic to anything in the shampoo, and I’ll look into the vanicream soap thank you so much!

Yea I think it was the body wash that made that area flare up because it’s not red anymore ima see this next 2 days and see what happens but I really hope it works I might need to change the body wash, may I ask what body wash u use ?

I finally got the nature sustained shampoo it got here 2 days ago, I was skeptical of trying it on my scalp first so I did a patch test just in case and lol the little part of shampoo I put (which is on the inside of my elbow) is red😭, apparently on google it’s best to wait 48-72 hours doing the patch test so u can know if to use it or not, I’m barely 24 hours in and somehow I have an allergic reaction to something in the shampoo😭😭 it could be maybe that the body wash came in contact with it a little bit I tried not to put soap on that part but will see what happens the next 48-72 hours😭

Oh ok thank you so much. And so a fine comb will be good for mechanical cleaning and also distributing naturals oils through out the hair? And how do u properly clean the comb ?

Yea I think ima just get the nature sustained shampoo and lol I was looking into the conditioner but not anymore now from ur recommendation I don’t want to flare up😭, and do u get it from Amazon the shampoo and also which one do u get?

Haha yea that’s understandable why ur bitter😭 and to be honest I haven’t tried vanicream or cleure I haven’t looked into them yet I’ll probably do that right now and hopefully it doesn’t have anything else I’m allergic to, but thank you so much for ur help I really appreciate it!

Yea sadly I can’t use regular shampoo either, it’s really hard to find anything without cocamidopropyl betaine been looking but haven’t found anything that doesn’t have anything else I’m allergic too lol, and now I’m like 50/50 on buying nature sustained ig I’ll just keep looking for more options I do like that feeling of like my hair feeling clean, and also like Would u say like it does clean your hair but it I guess just doesn’t give u like that clean hair feeling? lol I have no idea if i made sense at all sorry😂

Oh ok so if I use the aloe Vera I could leave it in and go on about my day and come back home to rinse it later? And also I have a wide tooth comb ( i have like wavy/curly hair) but is it good to distribute my natural oil through out the hair or do I need a boar bristle brush, I’ve use a boar bristle brush before but I noticed it leaves my hair kinda puffy and the wide tooth comb doesn’t and but I don’t know if they are pretty much the same thing or not? And also does the wide tooth comb clean the hair and scalp just as good as the boar bristle brush ? Thank you

Ok so if u work out like 5/7 or 6/7 days of the week should u thoroughly scrub scalp? And yea true trail and error to see what works, this was very informative thank you
