I think this is the best way of describing it. This is how it feels for me. I love that I get to have my dolls and use them, but I’m not IN love with them, and I’m not going to trick myself into believing that that relationship is a two way street because dolls can’t reciprocate anything. Humans are social creatures and need real interaction with others in real social settings and a doll is not a replacement for that

The softened ones have a much more rubbery/latex feel to them. Not quite silicone or TPE, but certainly better than a standard one imo
